Jennie grew up in Northern Colorado and owns two local restaurants with her husband, Jim. They live in Fort Collins with their two teenage daughters, two rescue dogs and rescue kitty. Jennie has a passion for rescue and has been involved in both fostering and rescue since her college days at Eckerd College in Florida. She finally found her rescue “home” with Bounce in late 2016 after losing her beloved lab, Bear. “I wanted to find a way to honor him and the amazing years he gave our family, and opening our home to countless foster dogs seemed like a great way to do that.” Jennie is excited to join the board and help Bounce fulfill its goals of enriching animal lives and benefiting the community.

Amber has called Colorado home since 2005. She has enjoyed working with wonderful individuals and companies in Fort Collins over the years. Amber has a B.S. in Accounting which led her to start her career in public accounting. She spent 5 years working for EKS&H and loved the culture, people and clients. While at EKS&H Amber found a love for real estate and construction, so she made the switch to Brinkman Partners in 2010. There, she helped start their multi-family and asset management department serving as an asset manager, accountant and leasing agent. Amber loved her time at Brinkman but with 2 small children at home she decided to enter the non-profit world, another passion she had always had. Giving back had always been high on her list and an opportunity was knocking in Affordable Housing, this was the best of both worlds real estate, development AND helping people! After working with CARE Housing and learning all the ins and outs of tax credits and HUD rentals, she was called to make a final move to Habitat for Humanity Fort Collins. Amber has always loved Habitat’s mission since she was introduced during build days with Brinkman. She has also seen first-hand through close friends blessed with Habitat homes what a difference stable housing makes. Amber accepted the Director of Finance position at Habitat for Humanity Fort Collins in 2017. Another passion of Amber’s is animals, she was raised on a small ranch where she raised animals for the fair and showed her horse. Her and her husband own a ranch and have adopted a new puppy through Bounce. When asked to join the board at Bounce she was excited to fulfill another love of hers, helping animals.
