FAQs

Some of our most asked and answered questions.

Q:

Where is your shelter?

A:

Bounce Animal Rescue is unique in that we do not have a physical facility, and instead, we are 100% foster-based. This means all of our animals live within people’s homes throughout the state of Colorado. We are very fortunate to have this type of system as this allows animals to land in a temporary home and start on basic training and home etiquette. It also allows us to better match up animals with adopters, as we get to learn the specifics of their personalities.

Because we do not have a shelter, we host weekly Saturday adoption events from 10am-12pm at Pet Supplies Plus (Front Range Village, 2912 Council Tree Ave #100, Fort Collins, 80525), in which all of our adoptable animals come together.

Q:

Where do you get your animals?

A:

Annually, we rescue over 1,000 animals displaced from high-kill shelters, owner relinquishments, puppy mills, and hoarding cases.

Q:

What vetting is provided by the rescue?

A:

Our animals come with up-to-date vaccinations, spay/neuter, heartworm and 4DX testing (for dogs 6+ months), feline leukemia testing (for cats), and microchip.

Bounce Animal Rescue is unique in that we take on a multitude of cases that many organizations or shelters cannot.  Because of this, many of our animals may also come with extensive vetting, such as dentals, heartworm treatments, mass removals, orthopedic surgeries, etc.  All medical information is discussed with the adopter prior to adoption.  All medical records are released to the adopter at the time of adoption.
