Noel was first seen in a neighborhood, often eating out of garbage cans and drinking street water to survive. She was terrified and used the little energy she had to hide from people. By the time Noel was captured, she was so weak that she couldn’t stand up. She was rushed to the veterinarian, and placed on IV fluids and diagnosed with parasites, emaciation, worms, and mange.
Nearly 5 months later, we saw a different dog. Noel was no longer the skinny, scrawny, sewer rat of an animal she used to be. She was vibrant, healthy, happy, alive….and ready her forever home. A few weeks later, Noel found her loving family and is now living life to the fullest.
